At 9:30 am we'll go through the main gate of Bandia reserve to do the formalities. A local animals tour guide will accompany us for 1h 30mn to 2h hours visit in this reserve. Its superficie is 3000 hectares and all the animals are free apart from the hyenas in fenced yard, the only supposed predators of the reserve. So we should look for them like a game : hide and seek. In this stunning nature made of Baobabs trees and acacias where live in wildlife : giraffes, zebras , monkeys, rhinocéros , warthogs , gazelles , buffalos , and many types of antilopes. The visit will end up at the crocodiles pool nearby the bar-restaurant. And then we'll keep going to Somone beach to have a break at the locals restaurant for lunch. A boat will come to pick us up after our lunch to start an enjoyable and relaxing ride in the creeks of the mangroves for 1 hour. An opportunity to discover many colonies of sea birds according to the season like : grey herons , great egrets, little egrets, great white pelicans, black kites, cormorants, african wattled lawpings ,osprey, pink-backed pelican , king fishermen Etc.. So we call it day and ready for a drop off to the airport.
