Chobe camping safari 1 night 1day

Owen's Taxi and Tours
Animals are wild and do roam free inside the Chobe national park. Please consider this when camping at the public campsites in Chobe Park. We do recommend that no food is left unattended at your campsite. Food attracts wildlife and can create some uncomfortable experiences. When leaving your camp during the day, we recommend storing all food and rubbish safely, it comprises one day one night, will take you there in the morning and drive you back after the safari the following day.

What we'll do

Chobe Camping is an unforgettable experience inside the Chobe National park. There are public and tour operator campsites located inside the Chobe. Any traveler or visitor is allowed to make use of the public campgrounds. These are limited and very popular. We do advise that you book well in advance. The Tour operator campsites are within the bush and perfect for a mobile safari.

Travelers with no 4x4 experience are best to partake in a guided mobile safari. Local guides and local companies have excellent knowledge of the wildlife and Chobe park. When you join a local safari company, you will most likely be staying in a wild bush camp. The public center offers showers and toilets, and water. It is, however, still recommended to carry your water, firewood and meals.
