What we'll do
This activity happens as a complete day tour that is achievement oriented which helps you challenge yourself to overcome your fears while at the same time appreciating not only the beauty of the Massif though an informative guided tour to the rock face and after event onwards to nearby natural rock pools handled by qualified instructors from Mulanje Rescue Team. The tour includes Zip Line at Kara ‘O’ Mula Pools, Abseiling at Kachere rock and a visit to Muloza natural rock pools and all the fun that goes with it.

Good to know
- This is an activity in Partnership with Mulanje Rescue Team
- Zip Line: We do these activities at Kara O Mula Lodge (check the web) where we have fixed benches (start an finished points) but we also do the same across Likhubula River where our benches need renovation
- Abseiling: We have different faces from ( 15 M ) for beginners to advanced ( 30- 50 M) at different locations depending on clients needs.
- The time is either half day for the activities or full day activity (including an informative hike to our natural pock pools and falls if a minimum of 10 people confirmed the hike)
- Price is negotiable for groups larger than 15 people (max 30)

- All meals and snacks

- ll vehicle transfers and items of personal nature (Swim gear, towels and such)
Cancellation and refund
The booking fee ($3.85 p.p. included in the displayed price) is non-refundable if you cancel your booking. If a local cancels a booking or does not show up at the agreed time and place, you receive a full refund of the booking fee.
You are buying a unique experience that also empowers local communities and people to improve their lives by sharing their knowledge and lifestyle.
We give space for creativity. The locals themselves decide and develop the activity idea and design it in a way they find interesting.
Locals get 100% of the price they want. The booking fee is added separately.
Meet the Local
I am Cristopher a Malawian professional and registered tour guide of Mount Mulanje. Together with other guides of Mount Mulanje we run an unregistered charitable group called Likhubula Charitable Group which sometimes provides basic care to vulnerable people who have nobody to support them like elderly people and the needy. On my localme account you can find several hikes to Mount Mulanke (1,2,3 and 7 days), as well as daily walks (Village Tours) through the activities we have in our community like traditional dances and other culture, sports and swimming natural pools(water Falls) and tea plantation.
