What we'll do

DAY 1: NAIROBI – MASAI MARA Pick up from confirmed Nairobi Point and commence the safari between 0730am and 0800 am. Stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to witness the escarpment wall. Descend and drive via Narok Town to arrive at Masai Mara Miti Mingi Eco Camp in time for check-in and hot lunch. Little Siesta at the campsite as you wait for the evening game drive in the best game reserve. Transverse Masai mara game reserve as you search for the wild animals and take great photos. Witness the sunset then exit with a great day 1 memory, drive to the campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 2: MASAI MARA Early African breakfast at the campsite, then depart with packed picnic lunch for a full day of wild animal viewing. Start the game drive before 0730 am which will be characterized by several up-close views of the wild animals that inhabit here in Masai Mara Game Reserve. Visit the Mara River for a guarded nature walk to see the hippos and the crocodiles. The rangers are given some tips for a great job at the river. During the migration season, from July to October tourists witnesses the crossing of wildebeest and zebras. Continue the game drive till late evening between 1600 hrs and 1700 hrs. Exit and drive to the campsite for an optional activity, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 3: MASAI MARA SAFARI EXPERIENCE. Breakfast at the campsite as you discuss with your guide the day’s activities. Depart again with packed picnic lunches for another Thrilling game drive in Masai Mara game reserve. Today you may decide to visit the sand river instead of the Mara River if the crossing will not be taking place. Enjoy the day with the sightseeing of elephants, buffalos, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, Cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and bird watching. Late evening exit the best game reserve and drive to the campsite for an afternoon visit to the Masai village, dinner, bonfire, and overnight at the campsite.

DAY 4: MASAI MARA – LAKE NAKURU. Breakfast at the campsite, check out, and depart Masai mara region via Narok and Narok Mau Road to Lake Nakuru National Park. This is the shortest route with scenic views of The Great Rift Valley, by noon arrive at the Lake Nakuru National Park for Registration and game drive till 1800hrs. Lake Nakuru is famous for the black and white Rhinoceros. The park has a sanctuary for this endangered species, flocks of Flamingo, and a large number of Buffalos. Visit the Makalia waterfalls and the baboon cliff before you exit the park with great African safari memories and drive to Hotel Citymax Nakuru for dinner and overnight.

DAY 5: LAKE NAKURU – SAMBURU. Breakfast at Nakuru Hotel; check out for a Drive to Samburu National Reserve. Stopover at Samburu Viewpoint, Thomsonsfall, and Nyuhururu equator line. Early hot Lunch at Nanyuki town then proceeds to Isiolo and Samburu Archers for the final shopping. Arrive at Umoja campsite for check-in and freshen up. Evening scheduled for at least 2 to 3 hours game drive in search of the Samburu special five. Samburu National Reserve is one unique national reserve where Grevy zebra, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, baise oryx, and Somali ostrich. Return to the campsite with a feel of Samburu National Park for Dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: SAMBURU SAFARI. Samburu National Reserve is not that Large and therefore you can enjoy a morning game drive and evening game drive with a break for hot lunch at the campsite. Alternatively, you can leave the campsite with a picnic lunch box and enjoy a full day of the game search. Samburu host a great number of wildlife species that will include Elephants, buffalos, Leopard, Lions, Wild Dogs, and Hyena, the special five and a large number of birds have been recorded here. Late Evening exit the National reserve and drive to the campsite for an optional activity, dinner, and overnight.

DAY 7: SAMBURU – NAIROBI. Early morning game drive game drives to track the nocturnal animals as they return from their hunt. Enjoy the sunrise and return to the campsite for a full breakfast. Check out and drive via Isiolo, Nanyuki Town, and Nanyuki Equator line. Karatina, Mwea Junction, Sangana, and Thika town to Arrive in Nairobi in the late afternoon. Kenya safari will end with arranged drop off at the Nairobi hotel or be transferred directly to Airport for a flight back home or to other safari destinations.

The booking fee ($45.00 p.p. included in the displayed price) is non-refundable if you cancel your booking. If a local cancels a booking or does not show up at the agreed time and place, you receive a full refund of the booking fee.
