2 Day Valley Hike in Atlas Mountains

2 Day valley hike trip will take us from the red city of Marrakech to the High Atlas Mountains to spend 2 days hiking with the local Berber people of these Mountains. These Atlas Mountains valleys are home to tiny hamlets and villages of the ethnic Berbers, a herding and farming community. Visit their homes and interact with them to know more about their traditions and customs. See their terraced fields of corn and barley and get a glimpse of their day to day living.

What we'll do

Day 1 : Marrakech - Imlil (1750m) - Tamatert pass (2279m) - Tinghrin (1600m)

After a transfer to the village of Imlil, we will meet with our local team then start our trek walking from Imlil towards Tinghrin village in the Imnan valley, hereby passing by Tamatert. We will have lunch on the col (pass in Berber) of Tizi 'n Tamatert (2279m). After lunch continue to Ouanesekra-Tamguist. Later we arrive at Tinghrin (1600m) where we will spend the night in a local gite.

1 hrs 30 min drive / 5 hrs walk / Meals: L, D / Gite (guesthouse)

Day 2 : Tinghrin (1600m) - Aguersiwal pass (2000m) - Aguerssiwal (1675m) - Marrakech

Today we start our walk through the Imnan valley exploring Berber villages and terraced fields of corn and barley before we cross the Aguersiwal pass (2000m) discovering the local lifestyle of the Berbers. Descent to the village of Aguersiwal to have lunch by the river then transfer back to Marrakech.

The booking fee ($15.40 p.p. included in the displayed price) is non-refundable if you cancel your booking. If a local cancels a booking or does not show up at the agreed time and place, you receive a full refund of the booking fee.
