What we'll do

The ride will first take us through a very nice neighborhood of Moshi which has green surroundings and large roads: Shanty Town. From there we will gradually ride uphill on the dirt road, while heading north. On the way, we will pass local schools, markets, and explore the local environment of the Chagga people. Our final destination is Kibosho village where you will enjoy scenic banana, coffee and corn fields, all while learning about the beliefs, songs, and famous agriculture methods of the Chagga people. It will be an authentic experience during which you will discover a new rich and unique culture and its traditions. The lunch break will be organized in a local place where you will try most delicious traditional Chagga dishes such as Mtori (banana soup), Ndizi Nyama (Banana and meat) and many others. You can even try the typical Chagga alcohol, Mbege, the local and tasty banana beer ! After that, we will visit one of the oldest church in Tanzania, the Gothic Catholic church, from where we will start the long and easy downhill ride back to the city of Moshi.
