Okavango Delta Safari & Victoria Falls

African Bushwalker Tours
Experience the wildlife and wilderness on the unique landscapes and breathtaking vistas to create a picture-perfect backdrop on a safari in Botswana. Pitted against the mighty Okavango Delta, isolated, and in a mokoro, it will only be you and pristine African wilderness to be explored. Mokoro excursions explore the Delta’s miraculous waterways and also allow for some great encounters with aquatic birds and mammals. Safari walks give the ultimate African adventure as one experiences the magic of the Okavango on foot. A distant roar rings in the air, so we look around for a large predator immediately after our siesta, we were having tea and get ready to resume our afternoon sunset cruise on a Mokoro ( dug-out man-made canoe) as we float through the maze of channels of Okavango Delta. We have been tricked by the call of the southern ground hornbill, often mistaken for a lion's roar. This loud, gruff roar of the hornbill along with its predator-like way of stalking prey on the ground, has made this charismatic bird an icon of the African bush.
