What we'll do

DAY 1: AUTHENTIC VICTORIA FALLS, ZIMBABWE/ ZAMBIA!

Mauya / Siyalemukela / Hello! Welcome to Zimbabwe!” We will be there to give you a warm welcome when you touch down at Victoria Falls International Airport and you will be met and driven to the Lodge, which is located in the northern suburbs of the resort.

One of our experienced team leader will meet you, to advise you on everything you want to know about your trip.In the afternoon you hike on the Zimbabwean side along the Victoria Falls, which stretch for almost two kilometres, to the most beautiful vantage points. The locals call the falls "Mosi oa Tunya" - the smoke that thunders. A fitting metaphor for this natural spectacle. (NB: depending on time available, we may do this the following morning). Please take care when wandering along the pathways inside the reserve - the Falls are almost 100 metres deep and the drops are sheer! Welcome to Africa!

The Chobe floodplains and Chobe River provide a sensitive eco system which attracts much of the wildlife of the region especially in the dry season when it is not uncommon to see between 500 and 2000 elephants on the floodplains at one time. One highlight of Chobe is the combination of wildlife, birdlife and reptiles seen along the banks of the Chobe River. Take the afternoon cruise for a unique perspective of riverside wildlife.
