What we'll do
Pick up from your hotel in the morning.
Guided tour in the Bulawayo Railway Museum, exploring the oldest rail steam engines which are over 150 years old. You will also get an opportunity to enter and see the personal train of Cecil John Rhodes who was once the Primeminister of Rhodesia. Lots of stories and history to hear from our Guide.
Later during the mid morning, our Guide will take you to Hillside Dams where you will spend at list 2 hours taking a nature walk. Lying within the Bulawayo City boundary, Hillside Dams Conservancy’s natural vegetation is still largely intact and includes a wide range of species and a diverse bird life. As a community-oriented project the area has been leased by a group of local residents with the aim of restoring it to being once again one of the prime recreational venues in Bulawayo, to be enjoyed by all of its visitors.
The tour will end in the afternoon, the drop off at your hotel in the city.
