3 Day Victoria Falls Experience & Zambezi Sunset Dinner Cruise

African Bushwalker Tours
Welcome to the great Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the world and a place where wilderness, adventure and culture unite around one stunning spectacle. Incredible natural beauty, and remarkable wildlife viewing combine to awe visitors to this UNESCO World Heritage Site on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia, where the Zambezi River drops more than 100m into the Batoka Gorge to form Victoria Falls. At 1.7km wide, it is the largest curtain of falling water in the world, and is often referred to as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” or the Smoke that Thunders. Victoria Falls, is a year round destination. However, the water levels vary throughout the year, being at their highest between April and June, and their lowest from October to December. Viewing the Victoria Falls at different times of the year offers different experiences – in high flow its entire length is a thundering wall of falling water, whereas in low flow the underlying structure can be seen and visibility is clearer.

Competitive Pricing

Because we are small we can keep our costs low and ensure that you get the best possible value for your travel budget. Booking through us should cost the same as booking directly. We earn commission from our suppliers and don’t add extra charges ‘on top’. It is common for our customers to actually save money by booking with us.

OUR SAFARIS

All our trips are small adventures, journeys of the soul and spirit. When traveling with us, we encourage you to leave behind all your fears, prejudices, mental barriers and expectations. Clear your mind, let go everything and be ready to be inspired. Let Africa fill your heart with all its voices, sounds, wildlife calls, scents and colors. Refrain from the desire of organizing every second of your trip. In Africa time evaporates into another dimension. It becomes a silent friend, if you manage to ignore it. Leave all schedules and programs behind and enjoy every second of your trip, whether you are photographing a hunting lion or simply waiting for your coffee to be served or for the sun to set.

For the most part, Africa is an underdeveloped country. During our trips, we try to be mindful of the fact that regardless of how cold, wet, dirty, hungry or thirsty we might be, we are still fortunate to belong to a luckier part of the planet. We also foster sentiments and acts of respect, understanding and generosity, towards the local populations. We believe in the joy of helping others, whenever possible. We welcome and seek interactions with the locals. We walk the local markets and there we buy our supplies. We welcome the noisy hordes of curious children who will surround us at every step. Bring your children and stare in awe together at a wild elephant just a few feet away. Find the joy of life in the simplest of things, where happiness comes from the inside, in a place where inner peace can still be exchanged with a smile, and a defining moment of eye contact can turn a stranger into a friend. This is Africa. Welcome!

While all our trips are designed with the same goals in mind -adventure, fun and safety- the accommodations, meals and road conditions may vary widely depending on the type of trip and itinerary. We want you to have an amazing time in Africa with us, so it is extremely important that you choose a trip that is right for you and all others traveling with you.
