Located just outside the Matopo Hills National Park, is Silozwane Cave. This cave, a steep half-an-hour scramble up the hill to a granite shelter, has one of the most varied and beautiful panels, with hunters and animals, but also with several domestic scenes.

What we'll do

Depart Bulawayo city in the morning.Drive to the Matopos Hills area passing beside the National Park. Great chances to come across plain game like zebras, impalas, gitaffe and some times Rhinos. We will arrive at the Silozwane Village around mid morning and if time allows, we will visit one home stead to see beautiful home paintings on the walls.There will be also an opportunity to watch local traditional dance.

later on, we will proceed to explore the Silozwane Cave, a bit of a hike.This hike might take at list 2 hours. After the hike, we will descend to the ground and proceed with our drive back to Bulawayo City so that we arrive before dark. Transfer to your Hotel within the City.
