What we'll do

Day 01 Arrive at Bulawayo Airport

Meet and Greet at Bulawayo Airport. Private transfer to Camp Amalinda in Matopo Hills. Relax, dinner and overnight at Camp Amalinda. This exclusive, privately owned safari lodge is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Matobo Hills, the oldest National Park in Zimbabwe, tucked away into an ancient Bushman’s shelter. The granite domes and castle kopjes echo the essence of tranquillity and majesty of untamed Africa, where wildlife and birdlife species thrive in prolific numbers. Famous for its healthy population of endangered rhino, the area is one of the most sought after destinations within Zimbabwe.

Day 02 Matopos Game Drive plus Rhino Tracking

After Breakfast,drive into Matopos National Park for a full day game drive. Visit the Bushman Cave paintings,the World's View, the balancing rocks and the explore the famous balancing rocks. Later in the afternoon, track the rhinos on foot escorted by an armed Ranger. Back to the camp Amalinda for dinner and overnight.

Day 03 Great Zimbabwe Ruins Tour

Depart Bulawayo and drive to Great Zimbabwe Ruins. Guided tour of the ruins. Great Zimbabwe monument is a Unesco World Heritage Site, it’s full of history and provides a perfect day out for visitors in Zimbabwe. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Zimbabwe during the country’s Late Iron Age. Great Zimbabwe served as a royal palace for the Zimbabwean monarch and was used as the seat of political power. One of its most prominent features were the walls. Dinner and overnight at Lodge at the Ancient City Situated upon a granite outcrop close to Great Zimbabwe is a royal dwelling, Lodge At The Ancient City. Looking out across a valley of Msasa trees and on to the Great Enclosure at the ancient city itself, the lodge offers the perfect setting from which to explore Africa’s most priceless archaeological treasures.

Day 04 Great Zimbabwe Ruins to Matopos

Depart Great Zimbabwe Ruins and drive to Matopos National Park Arrive at Camp Amalinda in the mid morning and relax till late afternoon. Guided walking Safari in the Matopos Hills. Back to Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 05 Depart Matopos to Bulawayo Airport

After breakfast, transfer to Bulawayo Airport for your flight. Options are available if you want to be dropped in Bulawayo City. Thank you for Visiting Zimbabwe!
