What we'll do

7 Days Bush Trekking Challenge in Zimbabwe

Day 01 Mataga Village
Meet and Greet at Harare/ Bulawayo Airport & transfer to Cresta Churchill Hotel in Bulawayo ( Holiday inn Hotel in Harare)

Day 02 Mataga Village Pick up from your hotel and drive to Mataga Village in Mberengwa. Dinner and overnight at Mataga Lodge.

Day 03 Biri Dam Camp Site After breakfast, drive to Biri Dam Camp Site. Check in at your Camp Site, meet your porters and Guides. Guided walk to the Dam wall and trek to the nearby hills. Procced with your trek to the Hornbill Mouth Mountain. Visit the big Cave and climb over descending on the other side of the mountain. Late afternoon, back to your camp site for dinner and overnight.

Day 04 Imbahuru Mountain
After your breakfast, we wil trek to Imbahuru Mountain and explore near by hot spring and visit the bush man cave paintings. later in the afternoon, we will climb to the peak of Imbahuru Mountain. Dinner and overnight at Baboob Camp site.

Day 05 Trek to Chapungu. Today we will leave the camp site very early in the morning and trek to Chapungu Secondary School. Lots of stories to be told along the way. We will meet local school children and get a chance to see the students in their classes. later we proceed to climb the near by mountain where we will see the bird breeding centre. Later during the day, proceed to the local clinic to witness our local health care system. Late in the Afternoon, proceed to Gwaai township to meet our back up car which will take us to Mataga Centre for dinner and overnight.

Day 06 Drive to Bulawayo/ Harare. Early departure and drive to Bulawayo or Harare. Transfer to your Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 07 Depart for Home Pick up from your hotel to Airport for your flight home.

The booking fee ($45.00 p.p. included in the displayed price) is non-refundable if you cancel your booking. If a local cancels a booking or does not show up at the agreed time and place, you receive a full refund of the booking fee.
