Day 03 Naletale Ruins Visit Pick up from your Hotel in the morning and drive to Naletale Ruins. Guided tour of the ruins. The beautiful little ruin of Naletale commands a fine view of the country and is probably the most architecturally satisfying of all the Zimbabwe ruins. The beauty of the site is enhanced by the strange shaped cabbage trees (Cussonia sp) locally named mufenge and the aloes (Aloe chabaudii and Aloe excelsa) which grow out of the walls. The views widen as the visitor ascends the large rounded granite kopje and on a clear day Danan’ombe is visible 22 Kilometres to the southwest. Naletale has undoubtedly the most magnificent decorated walls amongst the 300 dry-stone walled monuments to be found throughout Zimbabwe and the only ruin to have all types of patterning highlighted as banded iron-stone decorations. After the tour, drive to Antelope lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 04 Lion Encounter and Elephant walk at Antelope Park Today we will do a once in a life time experience where we will get closer to Lions and feed them. The fur will fly, quite literally, when you visit these adult lions at feeding time. Standing just metres from the fence line, onlookers watch in awe as several of these fully-grown male lions charge towards their meal and tussle for the prime pieces.

One of the most adrenaline-filled activities, the lion feeds not only give you a once-in-a-lifetime experience but also constitute a vital part of the research into the lions’ characters and dominance behaviour.

Most people could only dream of being so close to a fully-grown lion as it gets stuck into a meal, but you’ll be the guest of honour at a feast fit for the King of Beasts. Later in the afternoon, we will take you for an Elephant walk. Dinner and overnight at Antelope Park.

Day 05 Optional Activities then drive back to Bulawayo. Today we will remain at Antelope Park till mid day to give you a chance to do optional activities of your choice eg canoeing, fishing, game drive, horse riding or you may choose to relax by the river side. later in the afternoon, we will drive back to Bulawayo to end the tour. Dinner and overnight at Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel. Options are available to be dropped at Bulawayo Airport or to the bus station on the following day. Thank you for visiting Zimbabwe!
